Urgent Alert: DOE Announces Changes

Pricing is expected to increase 25-40% industry wide
|

Deadline

Department of Energy announced major changes to the HVAC industry starting January 1, 2023...

What is Changing?

The Department of Energy has implemented testing requirements to reflect more accurate installed efficiencies. Any non-compliant equipment must be sold for installation prior to January 1, 2023.

If you think you might be in the market for a new AC system before the end of the year, you'll want to look sooner rather than later. Due to the new regulations, prices for new air conditioners will increase substantially on the first day of 2023.

Our president, Byron Hubbard, discusses the new D.O.E. changes coming to the industry and how that effects you. Our suppliers are anticipating 25%-40% equipment price increases starting on January 1.

One of our service technicians, Brad, explains a little more in detail about why now is the time to buy instead of waiting until 2023 or later.
